 We are so excited! PGMA Girl Scout Troop 3480 will have its first meeting on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 6 p.m. at Prince George’s Muslim Association, 9150 Lanham Severn Road, Lanham, MD 20706.
Do you know a girl who’d be interested in joining Girl Scouts? Do you know someone who loves to work with girls, empowering them to make their world a better place? Come join us! Troop Manager Sr. Alia will be on hand to register girls and volunteers, as well as answer all your questions about becoming more involved in the amazing journey of guiding girls to their potential.

PGMA 2012 Summer Camp
PGMA Funtastic Summer Camps will begin June 18 and run through July 27.
There are two camps to choose from: Quran Intensive for Boys and Girls and the yearly themed camp: On the favored path--Our prophet and his noble companions.
Both camps include field trips and sports.

Youth Counselors needed for PGMA's Summer Camp
Are you a junior in high school?
Do you need community service hours this summer?
Do you love to work with kids in a safe and fun environment?
If you answered yes,
then PGMA has just the place for you!
PGMA is hiring for our summer camps! We need strong candidates who are mature, capable and serious about their commitment to children to work at our camps as counselors in training (CIT) to earn community service hours.
PGMA and An Nur Academy Montessori School also have the following openings:
Substitute Positions (2012 and 2013 Academic School Years)
Summer Camp Counselors (Community Service Hours)
Summer Camp Teachers: Quran, Islamic Studies,
Physical Education, and Art

Muslim Youth Soccer League(MYSL) is In Session
Register your children (boys and girls) to learn how to play soccer in a safe, Islamic Environment at PGMA.
Boys' games are played on Saturdays and Girls' games are on Sundays.

Are offered free of charge to new Muslims or anyone
interested in learning about the basics of Islam from
the beginning.
These classes meet on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the
month from Asr @ 5pm to Maghrib

(RUQ)
classes are offered on Sundays
from 10 am - 1:15pm

Sisters' Tajweed Classes
Learn Proper Tajweed by Imam Azzaari
The sisters free tajweed classes are held every Friday, between Maghrib and Isha, (7:pm to 8:30pm) Insha Allah.
Imam Azzaari holds an ijazah in tajweed and
is a very proficient teacher mashaAllah.
Sisters please come and join the class and also spread the word.
