Classes are offered in Quranic Arabic (QA), Quran Reading (QR) and Tajweed (TAJ). The classes aim at teaching the correct reading and understanding of the Quran. This multilevel program targets moving students from beginners through proficiency in reading, writing and speaking the Arabic Language A placement test is required to determine the level at which a student may be placed

Youth Group

"The PGMA sisters youth group was created to promote excellence in iman, leadership and character of young Muslim women in order to strengthen our community and build sisterhood through the teachings of the Qur'an and Sunnah. This group is open to any Muslim girl between the ages of 12 and 19 and is a good opportunity, for a lot of issues pertaining to being comfortable with one's identity as a young Muslimah, to be addressed. Group meetings are mainly in the form of halaqahs, social activities and workshops. Meetings are twice a month and the goal insha Allah is to form new as well as strengthen old bonds of sisterhood while learning and enjoying good company for the sake of Allah SWT.

SHARE (Self Help and Resource Exchange) Program

The SHARE Food program is a co-op buying opportunity that reduces the price of groceries based on order numbers allowing items to be bought in bulk at lower prices to the advantage of the entire group.  We need more Muslims to participate in this program so that we can encourage halal purchases. For only $20, you can purchase grocery valued at over $45. This includes meat, fresh fruits and vegetables and dessert. This program is also a great dawah tool or opportunity to help those is need. During the time that PGMA has been an official SHARE Food Host Site, alhamdulillah, we have purchased and distributed over 350 food baskets and completed over 1,000 hours of volunteer service hours for the community.
